The dog day doldroms are here! That’s not a bad thing: we all need a mental and physical break. Whether or not you’ve checked out for the season, you still need to feed yourself. Seems like a good time to highlight a few summery retailers selling Granola Lab.
August is the perfect time to visit a local farm and buy direct from the source. Granola Lab is for sale at two Upstate NY farm stores: Sprout Creek Farm in Poughkeepsie and Fishkill Farms in Hopewell Junction. Fishkill is celebrating peach season on August 16 with their annual Peachtopia festival. Sounds juicy!
We know lots of New Yorkers’ favorite vacation spots are out on Eastern Long Island. Seaside getaways are the best! The Montauk Juice Factory will keep you going with healthy juices, light fare, and Activation Energy for breakfast. Fishers Island in Long Island Sound is a more remote escape. Fishers Island Gourmet, attached to the Pequot Inn, sells our granola and lots of gifts and tasty provisions.
So go hit the forests, fields, and beaches and enjoy this perfect weather!

We’re taking the show on the road this Saturday, sampling our granola at the Fresh Market in Woodbury, Long Island. This full-service supermarket opened at the end of last year. With Southern roots, Fresh Market retains a touch of southern charm, even in our northern clime.

There are many picturesque towns along the Hudson River, but none so perfectly positioned as Cold Spring*. It’s only 50 miles from NYC, has its own Metro-North stop, and hiking trails are just a short walk from the train. And now it has the perfect specialty grocer! Cold Spring General Store opened less than two weeks ago, shelves stocked with fresh farm produce, yummy packaged foods (like Granola Lab!), and useful items for the home.
Owners Craig and Deanna Muraszewski are new to Cold Spring, but not to the area. Nor are they new to us: as Director of Operations at Foragers City Market, Craig took a shine to Granola Lab’s unusual flavors. We’re so pleased he’s stocked Cold Spring General’s shelves with our granola as well.
