Crain’s Made in New York

The Crain’s Made in New York event is a unique, ticketed event which connects the small business food and beverage community of New York with retailers and buyers. More than that, this show is like no other—it is part trade show, part marketplace, part educational experience.

Who will attend: retailers, distributors, restaurateurs, hoteliers, investors, service providers and entrepreneurs looking to launch food start-ups.

Brooklyn Made: redefining the golden arches

It’s been over a month since the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce announced their first group on certified Brooklyn Made products and Granola Lab’s Gold status is starting to sink in: we’re feeling snazzy, shiny, and oh-so official. Many of our fellow Brooklyn manufacturers have made the Chamber’s list, with a rating of gold, silver, or bronze, depending on the percentage of their business that occurs in the borough, as well as other factors.

We’re so proud to be a part of Brooklyn’s resurgence as a manufacturing hub and grateful to the Chamber for drawing attention to GL and our fellow hard-working Brooklynites. And what a cool logo! See how the M in Made is an image of the Brooklyn Bridge? It’s a subtle design choice, as opposed to the garish overuse of the Bridge in many logos and advertising images.

Batchery pop-up market debuts Saturday

It’s been a good long while since Granola Lab has participated in a market. The drought ends this Saturday! We’ll be joined by over a dozen other small-batch food makers at the Batchery‘s first ever event. It’s a pop-up market at the Bat Haus in Bushwick, right around the corner from the Jefferson L stop.

Love the color scheme! It matches our Brewers Bar labels perfectly. Speaking of, we’ll have bars for sale at the market, along with all our granola varieties. So celebrate this February thaw with an excursion to the Batchery!
